Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use PicRule (the “service”), run by PicRule. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to them. Contact: admin@picrule.com.
1. What the service does
The service helps you make passport, visa and ID photos. It crops your photo to the size of the document you choose and checks it against the published rules we can measure. We never retouch faces or replace backgrounds.
2. No government connection and no guarantee of acceptance
PicRule is independent and not connected to any government. The final decision on any photo is always made by the passport, visa or ID office. Rules can change, and some checks (such as expression or shadows) can only be judged approximately. Before you apply, please confirm the current rules on the official government website. We are not responsible for delays, fees or decisions by any authority.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or over to create an account. A parent or guardian may make photos for their child.
- Give a real email address and keep your password private.
- You may delete your account at any time on the My account page.
- We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
4. Your photos and fair use
- Only use photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed (or your child).
- Do not use the service for false documents, to pretend to be someone else, or for anything unlawful.
- Do not try to break, overload or copy the service.
5. Price
The service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, the price will be shown clearly before you pay, and these terms will be updated.
6. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but “as is” and without guarantee that every photo will be accepted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made by any authority. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
